Looks like finally Aion 2.0: Assault on Balaurea is going to be released.

These days when you run the NCSoft's Launcher you'll probably receive a message that an incremental patch is going to be downloaded. It means that the patch is being downloaded but not applied immediately. The reason of that is probably to prevent high server load on the release date, when everyone will rejoin the game to see what's new inside, so it's a good move of NCSoft. More to notice - if you right click on AION link from the launcher, and select "Check for updates", you'll probably see that the patch being downloaded is actually for 1.9.0.3 to 2.0.0.0 release. After awhile the message is replaced with an anouncement that the update will be ready on 08th of September, 2010 which probably means 2.0 will be launched on this date. Since it's incremental patch it will not be downloaded all at once, but rather on small parts everyday when you run the game. It will also help not to wait a lot of time for downloading the game when 2.0 is actually released.
