Aion is the critical Must have MMO, if you like world of warcraft, this is world of warcraft but with spectacular graphics, and a enhanced PVP system, No more looking up a quest online cuase you can't figure it out, this game has a built in quest tracker, that helps you locate your quest objective.

With combo abilitys, it brings in a new dynamic to all MMo's out there, imagine you cast a Ice Spell that slows a opponent and then bam hit them with a Combo ice spell that knocks them back! PvP in the air is a experience like none other.... so is just playing against normal Mobs, fly and blast from above, or fly and attack stealthly from behind and then knock the opponent in the air and slam them back down again!

with virtually no lag on a full server, this game is Must have!

If you like Great visuals, a fantastic Lore/history, and a game experience that will make you shun others this is the game for you!

Myself and two others I know all played the BETA and I have to admit this game is incredible. Being from NCsoft which is known for making a lot of cooker cutter asian style MMOs I was expecting a let down but was suprised to find a low-grind MMO that I just didnt want to put down. I am definateely playing this game when it come sout.

This has to be the most addictive MMORPG I've played since launch of Star Wars Galaxies! *For me at least*
The thing I have been loving the most is the flight system. It may be limited when you first start, but just flying around the outposts seeing things from the air (and occasionally falling to your death *LOL*) is amazing!

The classes are a blast to play. They are very defined in their strengths and usage in groups. But don't think you can't solo. I've never yet experienced a healer class that holds it's own soloing! I've never been good at the healer class, but, the Chanter (the ascendant class of the Cleric) has front-line buffs and attacks that help them stand alone or make them a very potent ally to stand at your side. Which isn't to say that the other healer class can't deal damage, they just do it from the back line with magics rather than a shield and mace. And the Gladiator is a true sight to behold. Whirling and twirling their polearms with brutality and grace.

Don't get me started on the crafting system. The crafting is so easy to do. Just gather the ingredients out in the field and bring them back to the crafting stations. Pick the recepie you want and hammer away. After just a couple tries I was making big progress in smithing my own armor. And the fact that I can become and expert in all the crafting types (but be mindful, you can only master one) means I can keep myself and my friends well supplied for any occasion!

The character creation has the most in-deapth customization I have ever seen in a game to date! About the only thing missing from the list that you can change is eye color (probably for story reasons as the Asmodian race has glowing red eyes).

The real question is not, "Should I play this game?" It's "What class should I play?"
