The Templar is a brave soul who must hold the frontline, using their shield to block and parry attacks while waiting for a weakness to show itself before retaliating. A Templar becomes more powerful when struck; indeed they can only reveal their full potential when they are in the midst of combat.

The Templar isn't just a heavy shield and pointed sword however. Unlike their Gladiator cousins, I have seen Templars using incantations and chants to protect and heal their allies, making them a versatile yet sturdy class.
