Those who already have an e-mail account knows that it was hard to get one, as it was needed the account to be manually set, after a request from the user. Now it's really simple! Just login to your community account, and fill the E-Mail Registration Form. Filling the form is actually quite quick as the only thing you need to provide is a password you want to use for your account. Few moments later you'll have your brand new account ready to e used. The username for your e-mail matches your community account username. Of course in order to apply for an e-mail acount, you need to be a community member. If you're still not, first you need to do it, by registering here.

Physical Defense Calculation |

The physical defense decreases the damage taken by melee and ranged attacks. To calculate how much damage you'll take using the physical defense, use the following formula: damage taken = enemy damage - (physical defense / 10)
For example, a monster attacks you with 300 damage. You're having physical defense of 1000. The final damage taken will be: 300 - (1000 / 10) = 300 - 100 = 200
Many people underestimate this stat, but actually it is very useful to have high physical defense, especially for classes like Templar or Cleric.

The block stat in Aion is the chance you have to block an attack. On a sucessful block, you're receiving less damage. The exact amount of damage reduced is not calculated using the block stat. Instead it is written on your shield how much damage it reduces (e.g. 35%). The chance for a sucessful block is based on the block stat, and the opponent's accuracy. The exact formula is as follows: chance to block = (block stat - opponent's accuracy) / 10 Note that chance to block cannot exceed 50%. Consider the following example: You're attacked from an opponent having accuracy of 1100, and your block stat is 1500, and 35% damage reduction. Your opponent attack normaly will cause you 1000 HP. Now calculating chance to block = (1500 - 1100) / 10 = 400 / 10 = 40% In case you sucessfully block you'll get: damage taken = 1000 HP - 35% = 650 HP Now consider the same example, but having block stats of 1700. chance to block = (1700 - 1100) / 10 = 600 / 10 = 60% Unfortunately since it exceed the maximum, the chance to block is reduced to 50% instead of 60%. Also even you have higher block stat, you'll again receive the same 650 damage. This is because the block stat does not affect the damage reduction, but the chance.
